Cyngor Cymuned Llansadwrn Ward (os yn berthnasol) 

RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD TRWY HYN fod  3  sedd gwag am swydd Cynghorydd yn y Gymuned/Ward uchod, a bod y Cyngor Cymuned yn bwriadu cyfethol. 

Ceisir datganiadau o ddiddordeb gan aelodau o’r cyhoedd sy’n cyflawni’r meini prawf canlynol ac sydd â diddordeb mewn cynrychioli eu cymuned ar y Cyngor Cymuned dywededig. Rhaid bod yn ddinesydd Prydain, y Gymanwlad, Iwerddon neu’r Undeb Ewropeaidd ac yn 18 oed neu’n hơn, ac yn cyflawni o leiaf un o’r meini prawf canlynol:

(a)        wedi’ch cofrestru fel etholwr llywodraeth leol ar gyfer yr ardal a enwir uchod; neu 

(b)        yn ystod y cyfan o’r 12 mis diwethaf, wedi bod yn berchennog    neu’n

(c)        denant tir neu safle arall yn y gymuned a enwir uchod       neu

(ch)      wedi bod â’ch prif neu’ch unig weithle yn ystod y 12 mis diwethaf yn y gymuned a enwir uchod;  neu rydych wedi byw yn y Gymuned, neu o fewn 4.8 cilometr ohoni yn ystod y cyfan o’r 12 mis diwethaf.

Mae rhai pobl benodol wedi’u hanghymhwyso rhag ymgeisio, yn eu plith swyddogion cyflogedi y Cyngor, unrhyw un sy’n destun gorchmynion cyfyngu methdalwyr a’r rheiny sy’n destun dedfrydau o garchar yn ddiweddar. Mae’r cyfrifoldeb yn eistedd gyda’r ymgeisydd i sicrhau eu bod yn gymwysedig i ymgeisio.

Annwyl Gadeirydd a Chlerc i’r Cyngor

Mae Un Llais Cymru – gyda chymorth Llywodraeth Cymru – wedi cyhoeddi fideo i hyrwyddo ac annog unigolion i gyflwyno eu henwau yn ymgeisyddion ar gyfer etholiadau cynghorau cymuned a thref a gynhelir ym mis Mai 2022. Mae’r fideo sydd ar gael  yn y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg yma:

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacons

Further to the announcement from Buckingham Palace on 2nd June last year, regarding the Platinum Jubilee Weekend of 2nd – 5th June this year of which The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacons is a major part, I have pleasure in confirming the current Guide To Taking Part in this event is available to view and download from – www.queensjubileebeacons.com and will continue to be updated on this site at the end of each month through to 30th May 2022, as more and more communities, organisations, charities, councils, local authorities, farms, country estates, historic houses, voluntary groups and individuals etc, agree to take part.

Pages 16, 17, 18 and 19 show the various types of beacons being used for this historic tribute to Her Majesty The Queen on 2nd June 2022, that can either be lit in farmers’ fields, on country estates, high hill tops, on beaches surounding our shores, as well as our town and village greens, along with other public spaces etc, with gas-fuelled beacons lit on church towers and castle battlements. Permanent beacon braziers made by local craftsmen/women being lit in the towns and villages also provide a lasting reminder of this historic moment in The Queen’s reign.

Many of those receiving this communication will already have permanent beacons in place, so please light them for this occasion, remembering to register your involvement as soon as possible please. From page 23 onwards you will see the many hundreds to date that have already agreed to participate in this event throughout the UK and in the Capital Cities of the Commonwealth countries. These lists will be added to over the next few months as more communities etc, join the project.

From the guide you will see that Town Criers will be undertaking the ‘Proclamation’ at 2pm announcing the lighting of the beacons that evening, Pipers playing ‘Diu Regnare’ at 9.35pm, with Buglers and Cornet players undertaking the Bugle Call – ‘Majesty’ at 9.40pm, before the beacons are lit at 9.45pm, and to coincide with their lighting, we are encouraging the involvement of choirs of all sizes etc, to sing the ‘Song for the Commonwealth,’ providing another colourful, community element of this Jubilee celebration, involving people of all ages and walks of life, so we invite you to source these choirs locally from schools, churches, and others, adding to your occasion that evening.

If you are able to obtain one of more of these, please be kind enough to register their involvement in the ways outlined below as soon as possible or by no later than 30th May 2022.

DCMS Project Funding Secured

Thank you for your incredible patience over the past few months whilst we undertook design and planning work for your project area, followed by the subsequent submission to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) for funding approval.

We’re thrilled to announce that after much dialogue with DCMS we have received final funding approval and sign off for Llanwrda & Llandovery. 🎉🎉🎉

What happens now?

We wish we could say immediate connection, but alas what happens now is the actual hard work involved in connecting you with awesome gigabit full fibre ⛏️.

🚛 Mobilisation

Funding confirmed means we’re now able to ramp up our local mobilisation and so you will begin to see more lovely folk from our sister companies, full fibre network builder ‘Telcom Infrastructure’ and civil engineering company ‘Pioneer Utilities’, over the coming weeks.

🎫 Gigabit Vouchers

As mentioned the whole project is only made possible by accessing grant funding in the shape of Rural Gigabit Vouchers, a scheme run by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport. If you have already signed up by applying for a grant then the time has come to receive your long awaited voucher. In the next few weeks you should receive an email from DCMS asking you to approve your voucher, so please do look out for this and confirm your voucher request as directed in the email.
