Tin-yr-Wydd-apple

Since the Community consultation in November the volunteers charged with setting up the Llansadwrn Community Garden have been hard at work preparing its Constitution and Policies, opening its bank account and arranging insurance.

In addition the Community Garden received a generous donation from the Reverend Vanessa Hope-Bell in memory of her son Joel.

As a result on the morning of Saturday February 2nd the first actual action in the Garden will take place. Two varieties of apple, Sunset – a good cropping eater and Tin yr Wydd (The Goose’s Bottom) – a local variety of cooker will be planted. Some locally sourced native bulbs will also be dug in.

Everyone is welcome to get involved, help out or just come and have a look and a chat.

The Garden is for everyone so don’t be shy.
