Minutes of the meeting of Llansadwrn Community Council held via MS Teams on Wednesday 6th November, 2024 at 7.00 p.m.
The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting.

No meeting had been held. Information regarding grants for Warm Hubs had been sent to members.

Councillor L. Rowlands stated that there were no issues to report.

Lyndsey Maiden would attend the January meeting with updates.
8 (2) Highway Issues
The state of the Roman Road was discussed, the ditch had been partly cleared, it would cost a large sum of money to improve the road.

We normally pay the Insurance for Llansadwrn Show, this to be discussed when a written request is received.

No Bank Statements had been received since August, the Clerk to contact Nat West and forward the balances to all members before the next meeting.
Model Financial Regulations
A new set of Model Financial Regulations had been received, these were discussed and accepted.
Audit 2023/2024
No report received from the Wales Audit Office.
Precept 2025/2026
This had already been discussed in the previous meeting and it was discussed once again. Unfortunately, the Community Council did not have any funds in the Reserves and it was agreed unanimously to increase the Precept to £12,500.00. This would be reviewed when the 2026/2027 would be discussed.
S137 donations for 2025/2026
The contribution that would be allowed would be £11.10 per ratepayer.

8 (10) Village Field
Letters had been received regarding the Field and the contents had been noted.
8 (11) Dog Fouling
The Clerk to report the Dog Fouling problems to Carmarthenshire County Council and requested that posters be sent to Councillor L. Rowlands.
- Date of next meeting
The next meeting would be via MS Teams on Wednesday 8th January, 2025. The Clerk to send the link at 6.55 p.m.
