Minutes of the meeting of Llanwrda Community Council held via MS Teams at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday 18th February, 2026

4. Matters arising from the minutes:
9 (a) Play Area
Councillor M. Goddard-Pepperzak reported that one the litter bins had broken, but she now repaired the problem. Marianne was thanked for all her work.
9 (e) Dog Fouling
There were no major issues at the moment.
9 (k) Green GEN Cymru
There were no further updates. The issue was discussed regarding underground cables, wooden poles, etc. but nothing definite to report.
9 (b) Village Speed Limit
A few motorists had been caught speeding in the village.
There were Agricultural livestock lorries in the village late at night, this was discussed as it was ongoing and there were no updates.
9 (b) Roman Road
County Councillor Arwel Davies was continuing to monitor the situation.
9 (28) Benches/Picnic Tables for the village
As stated previously we had applied for a grant, Williams Brownhill CIO are meeting in April, therefore hopefully by the AGM we will have some news.

(a) New School catchment consultation, this would affect Pumpsaint, Farmers, etc.

(c) There was 75% covered by We Fibre, 25% remaining.

No reports received.

No further updates since our last meeting.

9. Urgent business
ProW footpath
Work had recently been carried out on a footpath in Manordeilo. There is a walking group in the village of Llanwrda and they would like similar work carried out in the Llanwrda area. It was agreed that the group draft a request and the Community Council would forward the letter to Jason Lawday, ProW,
